Steph this breaks my heart and makes me proud of you all at the same time. What a beautifully written letter here of what it looks like to do our job from the inside view! You know I respect you. I CHOSE you specifically to care for me during my unmediated birth because I knew how well you would support me and care for me. You will ALWAYS hold a treasured spot in my heart for that shift served by you! Countless conversations, deep talks, opinions and hearts shared, both on and off shift with you as a respectable woman, friend, wife, mother and daughter. Thank you for your 14 years of service to the women of Yakima Valley and for the lives you have touched, and bettered along the way.
makes me want to fact check Memorial... sorry Steph. Crazy isn't it that we can't have conversations and opinions? I'm not backing down either. I lost my job on Nov 10 and am going in front of the school board tonight.
If I were you, I would frame that as a badge of honor! I am doing a bit of blogging about Yakima, Politics and Society and I would love to talk to you one of these days. Feel free to drop me a line if you are interested. NeilKHess@protonmail.com

Thank you so much Trish!! I feel the same way about you. You are a bold, kind and good nurse and lifelong friend.

So sorry. You will come out stronger, but for now it hurts. Stand strong and know people support you, even current employees
